South Plains VBS is called FAMILY BIBLE SCHOOL because so many people come and stay as a family and because so many older adults take part in preparation, leadership, or participation in the program.
For the past several years South Plains has joined with our friends from nearby congregations – Union Grove Baptist Church and Grace Episcopal Church – to enjoy a delicious supper in the fellowship hall followed by singing in the Sanctuary, telling of a Bible Story that brings the Word alive, then outdoor games, and an activity that benefits the community by putting God’s love into action.
Family Bible School in 2022 will be held from 6-8 p.m. on two Sunday evenings, July 10 and July 17. For more information about Family Bible School please contact the South Plains office at 434-293-4112.
